Working principle of bypass valve:
Usually, the bypass valve is closed, but in special cases, the bypass valve will open to ensure the normal supply of engine oil.
When the bypass valve will open:
1.When the auto oil filter produced by oil filter factory exceeds the replacement cycle and the filter element is seriously blocked.
2.When the oil is very viscous (cold start, low temperature).
Although the oil is not filtered at this time, it is much lighter than the damage caused by not lubricating the engine with oil.
