A car can run without a fuel filter. But without the fuel filter, the fuel injector will be blocked, resulting in a lack of cylinder or poor atomization, resulting in insufficient power and increased fuel consumption.
Most of the filters used in car engines are paper filter elements and sealed with a hard plastic shell. The internal oil level can be observed from the outside, so whether the filter is blocked can be judged by observing the rise of the oil level. If the filter adopts a metal shell, the oil pipe shall be removed, and the oil supply quantity of the pump shall be used to check and judge whether the filter is blocked. You can also remove the filter and blow it from the nozzle of the oil inlet pipe joint port on one side of the oil tank for inspection: when blowing, if the filter is completely not ventilated or forced to blow before ventilation, it indicates that the filter has been blocked.
